I am a Trained teacher of Economics and Business Studies and a career professional in the field of Customer Experience. Her career spans over 14 years in the Financial Services sector.

My most fun times are spent with my husband and 3 children who are an absolute joy.

I firmly believe that service to others is the highest calling of any leader or business and that great Customer Service is the key ingredient to success that very few businesses have been able to crack and capitalize on.

Anne Leads the projects ICT4Learning design and implementation alongside other areas of the programs interventions. The overall aim of the GEC project is to improve the learning outcomes of 10 000 marginalized girls across 3 counties in Kenya. The project has in its design teacher coaching and mentorship and the improvement of quality of teaching. Anne was also part of the team implementing the dissemination of the National Education Sector Plan and is conversant with the Kenyan education system

Before joining the development world, Anne also worked extensively in the academic arena in various capacities. Through Qnet Anne has developed a customer base of more than 5000 e commerce entrepreneurs. Lilyanne has over 10 years experience as a development practitioner working on sustainable livelihoods and social economic inclusion; and currently working on promoting decent work and social inclusion for refugees and host communities in Kenya. She had developed and managed projects  in both rural and urban areas in Kenya and is particularly experienced in women empowerment, social protection, urban development, building resilience for vulnerable populations, market systems and value chains development, and enterprise development. Lilyanne is a champion for women voices and actively challenges practices that sustain gender inequalities and elevate patriachy; and is an ardent promoter of women inclusion in social, economic, and political spaces.  She firmly believes that given the opportunity, women and girls have capacity to contirbute significantly to all sectors of development.  When not engaging with civil society, Lilyanne enjoys working with Kenyan artisans to design and produce fashion goods. Yuri is a graduate volunteer teaching assistant from PACEMAKER international (class 2019) after completing 460 hours of service at Kawangware Primary school. He is also the co-founder of the African Footprint Initiative that mainly aims at empowering the youth. Yuri is a class 2018 alumnus of The Lenana School and an alumnus of the Watson Institute after studying social entrepreneurship in the fall of 2019. He is passionate about Emotional Intelligence, Muay Thai, Leadership, Social Entrepreneurship, and Portrait Photography.

He has been part of the gap year program offered by AKAD Africa from which he has learned how to build socio-economic capacities to connect, dialogue and share ideas and strategies that can deliver accelerated problem-solving capabilities. It is through this program that he has been granted the invitation to attend state events such as the National Prayer Breakfast, and the Annual National Conversation in 2019.

During his time in high school, he co-organized the Campaign Against Drugs Festival held at Ruaka Baptist Church in 2016 to create awareness on the harmful effects of drug abuse. Yuri has witnessed the launching of the two-thirds gender principle by the National Gender and Equality Commission in 2019 and has had his submission essay be posted on their website after positively challenging key stakeholders of the commission in a consultative forum regarding the age consent for sex in Kenya 30th April 2019. Yuri has been privileged to attend the Youthspark Pan African Youth Conference 3.0 in Kigali, Rwanda whereby he successfully coached participants from eight different African countries on developing their emotional intelligence. During his time at Watson, he has been able to build socio-economic relations with the St.Vrain Innovation Centre, Idea forge, Galvanize, Techstars and Junior Achievement USA.

Yuri desires to study in Harvard College, and continually pursue his passions. He has a noble aspiration to be recognized as an African change-maker by empowering the youth through social entrepreneurship and Heart-led leadership.

Samuel Mburu Mwangi

Telecommunications engineer

Is  a telecommunications engineer with 9 years’ experience in the technology field. Having worked for Telkom Kenya and Microsoft, he is currently an Enterprise Solutions Manager at Safaricom. Together with his team, he is involved in the designing and deploying digital transformation solutions to enterprises and government. He holds a bachelors in Telecommunications and Information Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and is pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at Strathmore Business School. He is registered as a Professional Engineering Technologist registered by Kenya Engineers and Technologists Registration Board and is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Samuel is also a humanitarian with Rotary International where he serves as an Assistant Governor in District 9212. Through Rotary, he has been involved in projects such as boreholes to provide water to communities in Kitui, computer lab for the Muranga School for the Hearing Impaired, Dental Clinic for Kilimambogo Mission Hospital and many others.

In 2014, Paul teamed up with his business partner and implemented Kytabu the education-technology platform that enables students to micro-lease digital curriculum books and other content at a fraction of the normal price, making education content extremely affordable.
